The incorporation of Cristina García Baylo to BIOSCICAT responds to the need to strengthen an unprecedented strategy launched by this scientific entity: its purpose is to reorient social thought towards a culture of respect for nature and for all forms of life, in such a way that, in the long term, an individual and collective attitude is created, which becomes a characteristic and identity mark of our society. Therefore, we try to articulate innovative communication formulas, such as the production of documentaries and film productions aimed at the general public.
Cristina García Baylo is also in charge of a large department that includes the management of the press office, relations with the online and offline media, the launch of campaigns through the media, conferences and scientific reports, in addition to working so that Bioscicat, as a scientific entity, influences public policies, facilitating changes in legislative regulation and a greater allocation of public resources for the conservation of biodiversity.
